Numerical performance investigation of decentralized ventilation compared to centralized ventilation system at a residential building: A case study in Norway

چکیده
A main goal of the study is to investigate whether decentralized ventilation (DV) systems can outperform typically centralized (CV) system in terms energy while keeping indoor air quality at acceptable levels. And additional research questions regarded heat recovery function and placement DV units within apartment space. The question about modeling themselves a Software, IDA-ICE was investigated. unit has been proposed. advantages drawbacks using such were outlined compared ventilation. building simulation software raised discussed. Results show that, given chosen set boundary conditions model DV, it offers best performance energy-wise mild season. differences are most visible during colder months when demand highest. came out with slightly worse low (HRU) performance. weren’t substantial none analyzed met TEK17 requirement for net delivered residential buildings. No significant difference shown regarding climate indicators across systems. Seasonal analysis shows marginal between HRU showed energy-saving potential cold seasons.
